Terms & Conditions

TreeTopFrog Ltd  ·  Registered in Scotland  ·  Effective: April 2026  ·  Version 1.0

Please read before purchasing. By placing an order for Hamlet you confirm that you have read, understood and agreed to these terms. These terms form a binding contract between you and TreeTopFrog Ltd. Hamlet is sold for business use only — by purchasing you confirm you are acting in the course of a business.

1

About Us

Hamlet is a product of TreeTopFrog Ltd, a company registered in Scotland. "We", "us" and "our" refers to TreeTopFrog Ltd. "You" and "your" refers to the business purchasing Hamlet.

These terms govern the sale of Hamlet hardware and the provision of the Hamlet subscription service. They apply to all orders placed through hamlet.treetopfrog.com.

For queries relating to these terms, contact us via hamlet.treetopfrog.com/support.

2

Business Customers Only

Hamlet is designed exclusively for business use and is sold on a business-to-business basis only. By placing an order you confirm that:

  • You are purchasing for use in the course of a business, trade or profession
  • You are not purchasing as a consumer for personal or domestic use
  • You are authorised to enter into this agreement on behalf of the purchasing business
ℹ️

Hamlet connects to business social media pages only — Facebook Business Page, Instagram Business, LinkedIn, Google Business Profile. It is not compatible with personal social media accounts.

3

What You Are Buying

3.1 Hardware

Hamlet is a dedicated mini PC, pre-configured and tested before dispatch. The hardware is sold as a one-off purchase. You own it outright from the moment it is delivered.

3.2 Subscription Service

To operate, Hamlet requires an active subscription, covering:

  • The AI Signal Engine (content generation and monitoring)
  • Hosting of the Hamlet service infrastructure
  • Access to the Smart Hub App (social publishing and reputation management)
  • Software updates, maintenance and standard remote support

The subscription is charged monthly in advance. Hardware and subscription are two separate charges.

3.3 Configuration

Every Hamlet box is individually configured to order. Before dispatch we build your Signal Engine File, connect your social accounts, configure your review sequences, and run a full systems check across all content pipelines.

🔧

We retain a secure remote diagnostics connection to your Hamlet box for support and maintenance. This is used only to resolve issues and is not used to monitor your business activity.

4

Ordering & Payment

Orders are placed through hamlet.treetopfrog.com. A contract is formed when we confirm your order by email. All prices are in GBP and exclude VAT unless stated otherwise.

  • Hardware: £1,399 one-off payment (subject to change for future orders)
  • Subscription: £197 per month, billed monthly in advance

We aim to dispatch within 14 days of receiving full payment and completing the voice configuration call with you.

5

Delivery

Hamlet is dispatched by tracked courier to the address you provide. Risk passes to you on delivery. Ownership of the hardware passes to you on receipt of full payment. If delivery fails due to an incorrect address, any re-delivery costs are your responsibility.

6

Hardware Returns & Faulty Goods

6.1 No Change of Mind Returns

Because every Hamlet box is individually configured to your business — your brand voice, your social accounts, your review sequences — it cannot be returned on a change of mind basis. This is standard for bespoke goods under UK B2B contracts.

6.2 Faulty Hardware

If your Hamlet box develops a hardware fault within 12 months of delivery, we will diagnose remotely, and repair or replace at our cost if a fault is confirmed. Faults must be reported via the support page. We retain the right to inspect remotely before agreeing a warranty claim.

6.3 What Is Not Covered

  • Physical damage caused by misuse, accident or modification
  • Faults from unsuitable power supplies or unauthorised software
  • Normal wear and tear

6.4 Pre-Dispatch Testing

We document the condition and operational status of every unit before dispatch. Diagnostics logs are retained and form part of our warranty assessment process.

7

Subscription Terms

7.1 Start and Billing

The monthly subscription begins on the date your Hamlet is dispatched. The first payment is taken at point of order. Subsequent payments are taken monthly on the same date.

7.2 Cancellation

You may cancel at any time by giving 30 days written notice via hamlet.treetopfrog.com/support or by email. Full service continues during your notice period. No refund is given for remaining days in the final billing period.

7.3 What Happens to Your Box on Cancellation

The hardware is yours and remains with you. On cancellation:

  • All Hamlet software and configuration files will be removed from the box
  • All AI Signal Engine features and Smart Hub App access will cease
  • We will provide login credentials for the underlying Ubuntu operating system — your box remains a fully functional mini PC
💡

Hamlet runs on Ubuntu Linux. On cancellation it reverts to a clean, functional computer — it simply no longer runs the Hamlet software.

7.4 Price Changes

We may change the subscription price with 30 days written notice. If you do not wish to continue at the new price, you may cancel under clause 7.2.

7.5 Failed Payments

If a payment fails we will notify you and attempt again within 7 days. If payment remains outstanding after 14 days we may suspend the service. Persistent non-payment may result in termination.

8

Service — What We Provide and What We Don't Guarantee

8.1 Nothing Posts Without Your Approval

All content is drafted and held in your Smart Hub calendar. Nothing is published to any social media platform without your explicit approval. You are in full control of what goes live at all times.

8.2 What We Do Not Guarantee

  • Any specific outcomes — follower growth, leads, revenue or search rankings
  • The quality or appropriateness of AI-generated content (you review and approve all content)
  • Continuous uninterrupted service — maintenance or events outside our control may cause downtime
  • The availability or performance of third-party platforms (Meta, Google, LinkedIn, GoHighLevel)
  • That social media platforms will not change their APIs or policies in ways that affect Hamlet

8.3 Third Party Platforms

We are not responsible for outages, policy changes or account restrictions imposed by Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, Google or any other platform.

9

Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these terms limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud, or any liability that cannot be excluded by law.

Subject to the above, our total liability shall not exceed the total subscription fees paid by you in the 12 months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

We shall not be liable for:

  • Loss of profit, revenue, business or anticipated savings
  • Loss of data or business information
  • Reputational damage from AI-generated content that you have approved for publication
  • Indirect or consequential losses of any kind
  • Any loss arising from third-party platform outages, changes or restrictions
10

Data & Privacy

10.1 Your Business Data

To configure and operate Hamlet we collect your business name, trade, location, website URL, brand voice and social account details. This is stored on your Hamlet box and on our secure infrastructure.

10.2 Your Customers' Data

Where you send customer contact details via the 'add contact' function, this data is processed to create contacts in your Smart Hub CRM. You are the data controller. We act as your data processor. By using this feature you confirm you have a lawful basis under UK GDPR to share this data.

10.3 Data on Cancellation

On cancellation, your configuration data will be removed from the Hamlet box. You may request export of your Smart Hub CRM data before cancellation.

11

Intellectual Property

The Hamlet software, Signal Engine, Visual Engine and associated code remain the intellectual property of TreeTopFrog Ltd. You are granted a licence to use the software for the duration of your active subscription. This licence terminates on cancellation.

Content generated by Hamlet and approved by you for publication is yours. We make no claim to ownership of posts or images published under your business name.

12

Acceptable Use

You agree not to use Hamlet to publish unlawful, defamatory, discriminatory or harmful content; to violate the terms of any connected platform; to send unsolicited commercial messages; or to impersonate another business or individual.

We reserve the right to suspend service immediately if we reasonably believe Hamlet is being used in breach of this clause.

13

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms with 30 days written notice by email. Continued use of Hamlet after that period constitutes acceptance. If you do not accept changes, you may cancel under clause 7.2.

14

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of Scotland. Disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Scottish courts. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions continue in full force.

⚖️

These terms reflect the commercial arrangement between TreeTopFrog Ltd and its business clients. TreeTopFrog Ltd recommends obtaining independent legal advice from a qualified Scottish solicitor before relying on these terms commercially.
